Role: Crushing Operator
Location: Weld Range, Western Australia FIFO ex-Perth
Roster: 7 Days, 7 Nights, 7 Off - 12-hour shifts
Type: Fulltime, Permanent

Join the new team operating a brand-new fixed plant crusher at our Iron Ore operation in the Weld Range, WA. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the foundation crew responsible for safely operating and improving a new crushing circuit from day one.

This is a multi-skilled role covering both Crusher and Loader operations, giving you variety across your day. You will work closely with maintenance and production teams to ensure the plant runs safely, efficiently, and reliably, while also supporting loading, stockpiling, and material movement as required.

You will play a key role in building a strong team culture and helping set up the operation for long-term success during an exciting growth phase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor crushing and screening plant to deliver safe, reliable iron ore production.
  • Monitor plant performance and respond to alarms, blockages and process variations.
  • Conduct routine inspections, pre-start checks and shutdowns in line with procedures.
  • Support maintenance activities and coordinate with maintenance teams as required.
  • Maintain safe work practices, housekeeping standards and compliance with site procedures.
  • Assist in achieving production targets through effective plant operation and teamwork.
  • Complete shift reports, logs and operational records accurately.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience operating crushing plant in a production mining environment.
  • Competent operation of Komatsu WA600 or similar loaders (e.g. CAT 992, CAT 988 or equivalent).
  • Experience feeding crushing circuits and maintaining consistent plant feed preferred.
  • Capable of working independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Applicants must hold a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
  • Current 'C' Class Western Australian Driver's Licence.
