How this role supports our work
Focusing on implementing fundraising activities across multiple channels for a specific supporter segment, this role spans the supporter decision process across ‘lifecycle’ stages encompassing reach, act, convert and engage. This position aims to implement activities that acquire, convert, retain, re-engage and inspire supporters for long term sustainable growth.
It is the role of a Segment Specialist is to act as a bridge between the broader market and supporter segments we want to target, ensuring that fundraising efforts are tailored and effective for each segment with a focus on the execution of the strategic direction for specific supporter groups outlined by the Senior Segment Manager.
What you will do
- Understand supporter needs, analyse data, and collaborate to improve fundraising campaigns and product development.
- Support our program and services areas to operate effectively in compliance with laws and regulations and pro-actively identify legal risks and suggest practical solutions.
- Engage in close collaboration with product development, finance, data & analytics and Marketing, Communications & Customer Experience teams to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution.
- Help inform the Delivery Team based on informed decision making to execute and deliver tailored communications journeys to achieve revenue objectives across the full spectrum of outbound channels required to engage your segment
What you will bring
- Sound discipline knowledge and understanding of customer/supporter lifecycle management and segmentation logic
- Strong knowledge, gained through experience, in supporting campaign execution, data reporting, or supporter engagement initiatives
- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with fundraising, product, and analytics teams with the proven ability to use Excel and BI tools to extract, analyse and interpret data
