What you'll be doing
As a Medical Radiation Scientist - Diagnostic Radiographer Level 2, you will provide safe, accurate and patient-centred diagnostic imaging services while contributing to the delivery of outstanding healthcare outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing a variety of radiographic examinations in accordance with professional standards and radiation safety requirements
Supporting patients throughout their imaging journey by providing clear information, reassurance and compassionate care
Collaborating with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and responsive imaging services
Maintaining high standards of image quality, patient identification, infection control and workplace safety
Participating in a rotating roster and contributing to a 24-hour imaging service
About You
We are looking for professionals who are passionate about diagnostic imaging and committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
You will bring:
Experience in general radiography including trauma, theatre, mobile, dental and fluoroscopy imaging, or strong clinical placement exposure as a recent graduate
The ability to work confidently in a busy hospital environment with competing priorities

Essential requirement:
Qualification: Degree in or currently completing degree in Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science - Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
Registration: Eligible for and registered with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) prior to commencement
License: Eligible for or possess NSW EPA Radiation Licence IA14
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated experience in general radiography, including but not limited to general and trauma, operating suite, mobile, dental and fluoroscopy
Experience working in a busy hospital environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to solve clinical situations and to develop effective solutions
