The Role

To provide day-to-day supervision of administrative staff of the Radiology Department and coordinate administrative systems and procedures to enable the Radiology Department to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.

Selection Criteria

  1. Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks while managing competing work priorities and work flow within allocated resources
  2. Ability to determine priorities for others, allocate tasks, coach and monitor work performance of staff to achieve work objectives.
  3. Demonstrated initiative and the ability to bring a creative approach to problem solving
  4. Ability to work independently and with demonstrated capacity for effective teamwork
  5. High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and customer service approach
  6. Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures
  7. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook; iPM and Radiology Information Systems.
  8. Experience in managing administrative staff.
