Reporting and Governance Lead

Your New Role
This 12-month role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Program Enablement the Reporting and Governance Lead will play a critical role in reporting on our global risk transformation program. The Reporting and Governance Lead will work closely with members of the Control Centre, Project Delivery team, Program stakeholders and the Fund more broadly to ensure reports and associated communications are timely, accurate, engaging and consistent.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Draft project status report papers and supporting packs for Executive, Board and external stakeholders ensuring factual accuracy and timely information.
Monitor the reporting calendar for all governing bodies to ensure accuracy and alignment with program requirements (including regulators, Board, Board sub-committees, Chief Committees and Steering Committees).
Plan regular reporting requirements for short (e.g. coming quarter) and long term (e.g. next 12 month) horizons.
Develop knowledge of and subsequently serve as subject matter expert on different committee material review and submission cadences / requirements.
Coordinate collation of reporting inputs from the Control Centre, Project Managers, Initiative Owners and Subject Matter Experts.
Contribute to successful facilitation inc. agenda setting and content preparation for team functions such as all-in briefings and project offsites.
Coordinate and respond to senior stakeholder (e.g. Program Sponsor) review of draft reporting materials.
Respond to ad hoc reporting requests by co-ordinating the Control Centre, Project Managers, Initiative Owners and Subject Matter Experts.
Facilitate the initiative closure governance process including track closure memo progress across initiatives, ensure evidence completeness and audit readiness and coordinate the approvals and sign-off processes
What You'll Need
Proven ability to deliver against project milestones and tight deadlines.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to suit different audiences and contexts.
Demonstrated capability to apply both strategic and operational thinking to complex issues.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of the finance/superannuation industry, including key participants and the political, regulatory, economic and commercial landscape.
Proven ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, complex environments.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, delivering effective outcomes for a diverse stakeholder group.
