About The Role:

Victoria University is seeking a Senior Manager Delivery to lead the strategic direction and delivery of projects and business improvements across People and Culture. Reporting to the Director Operations and Safety, you will oversee the P&C project portfolio, manage resources, and drive operational enhancements that support the University's workforce and organisational goals. This role requires a strong leader with expertise in project portfolio management, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement within a complex tertiary education environment.

Position Key Duties:

  • Provide end-to-end oversight and prioritisation of the People and Culture project delivery portfolio.
  • Develop strategic concept briefs, business cases, and funding submissions to support University initiatives.
  • Lead coordination and management of resources, including internal teams and external vendors, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with Digital Campus Services and the Strategic Projects Office to align on technical feasibility, governance, and scheduling.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and implement continuous improvement practices across HR functions.
  • Drive enhancements in HR data visibility, reporting capabilities, and data quality to support informed decision-making.
  • Facilitate governance forums and stakeholder engagement to maintain alignment and transparency.
  • Advise senior leadership on technology investments and strategic priorities to sustain ongoing benefits for People and Culture.

Position Details:

  • Classification: HEP 10
  • Salary: $142,411 - Plus 17% Super
  • Employment Type: Full Time - Ongoing
  • Hours per Week: 36.75/1 FTE
  • Location: Footscray Park Campus - 3 days on-site

About You:

  • Significant experience overseeing a portfolio of projects, with expertise in prioritisation, governance, and delivery management, particularly within Human Resource digital initiatives.
  • Proven ability to develop concept briefs, business cases, and funding submissions.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across business, technology, and project functions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in resource management, risk mitigation, and driving data-informed improvements.
