Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Night Auditor to support overnight hotel operations in a part-time capacity. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial processes while maintaining smooth overnight guest services and operational standards. Please note this is an overnight role with shifts scheduled from 11.00pm-07.00am.

Working as the key point of contact during the night shift, you will ensure the hotel operates efficiently and accurately by:

  • Completing the night audit process, including financial reconciliation and reporting
  • Ensuring all guest accounts, charges, and transactions are accurately processed
  • Managing overnight guest enquiries and providing professional front office support
  • Conducting property checks to support safety, security, and compliance standards
  • Responding to operational issues and guest requests in a calm and efficient manner
  • Preparing daily reports and ensuring accurate handover to daytime teams
  • Supporting smooth coordination between Front Office and Finance departments

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Night Auditor or Front Office role in a hotel environment
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Sound understanding of hotel accounting processes and financial accuracy
  • Calm and solutions-focused approach in overnight or independent work settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for shift outcomes
  • Experience with Opera Cloud or similar hotel systems highly regarded
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays
