Multiple Permanent Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
Salary Classification: Registered Nurse Year 1 - 8
Remuneration: $37.48 to $52.62 per hour + super + annual leave loading

As a Registered Nurse in Emergency Medicine, you will be responsible for the provision of high quality, safe, people-focused care to achieve desired clinical outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will have emergency nursing experience and a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development. This role requires you to be available to work all shifts on a rotating roster including morning, afternoon, night shift and weekends. Your transition into the role will be supported with Clinical Nurse Educator guidance and supervision 7 days/week.
At Calvary Mater Newcastle, the main point of difference for our emergency department is specialised focus on general medicine, oncology and haematology, palliative care, with an expert focus on behavioural disturbance and toxicology patients.

About you
- AHPRA accredited Registered Nurse
- Recent clinical experience in emergency nursing combined with evidence of continued professional development
- Knowledge of and willingness to work towards achieving Emergency Department Key Performance Indicators
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and in periods of high demand and activity
