Nestled in Parramatta Park's lush surrounds, Parramatta Aquatic Centre (The PAC) is a new fitness, wellness and relaxation hub. Featuring three pools including an outdoor Olympic-sized centrepiece and indoor water playground, as well as spa, steam and sauna facilities, fitness centre, and public cafe, the PAC is a community oasis to accompany Parramatta's burgeoning CBD district.

Group Fitness Instructors are responsible for the delivery of engaging, quality group fitness activities within Council's aquatic and wellness facilities across a seven day a week programming calendar from early morning to evenings.
Flexibility is essential as the successful candidates will need to be available to work across Monday and Sunday.
Shifts will range from 5:30am - 11am and 4pm - 9pm, across 7 days.
We are looking for Group Fitness Instructors who are qualified to teach Yoga, Pilates, Reformer, Aqua, Zumba, Tai Chi or Les Mills.
On a daily basis, your main tasks will include:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based group fitness classes aligned to community needs and customer demand.
- Design inclusive, varied classes (including music) suitable for all fitness levels and abilities.
- Run classes professionally-start/finish on time, follow the correct format, and maintain a positive, motivating environment.
- Ensure safety and compliance by managing equipment, reporting incidents, and maintaining qualifications and training.
- Build strong customer relationships through clear communication, excellent service, and timely feedback sharing.
Aboutyou
The successful candidate should have minimum 1-2 years experience in teaching and delivering classes for up to 20 members per class, a passion for fitness and the ability to provide high quality customer service in a fitness class setting.
We are looking for Instructors available to teach across 7 days, within the shifts provided; 5:30am - 11am and 4pm - 9pm.
Required Qualifications include:
- Certificate III in Fitness for Freestyle Group Fitness Aqua Fitness (Including Aqua modules), Cycle Boxing, or
- Group Exercise Leader (GEL) for pre-choreographed programs certified to teach Les Mills programs that may include Body Combat, Body Pump and RPM, or
- AUSactive Approved Professional Pilates Courses or Registered Yoga Professional certified to teach specialist programs
- Certified to teach specialist programs that may cover Zumba, Les Mills, Cycle, Pilates (Reformer and Matt), Yoga, Aqua and Boxing
Along with the following:
- Current Australian First Aid and Current CPR Certificate
- NSW Working with Children Check
Desired qualifications:
- Cert IV in Fitness
- AUSactive National Registration in the Group Exercise Instructor (GEI), Group Exercise Leader (GEL), or certifications in specific group exercise programs that has been approved by AUSactive.
- Knowledgeable to deliver non accredited group fitness programs of ie; Boxing, Aquarobics, Barbell style classes and Seniors active based programs
- Tertiary qualification in Exercise Science or similar
What's on offer
We have several casual positions available and are offering an attractive hourly rate from $52.12 to $57.41 (inclusive of 25% casual loading), and weekend penalty rates.
