Program Technical Data Lead (ILS) - Defence

At Quality People, we are dedicated to Achieving Professional Excellence by connecting the right people with the right projects. Our client URGENTLY requires a Program Technical Data Lead (ILS) for a short-term contract role in Newcastle.
This position is responsible for coordinating Technical Data Controls and Configuration Management while providing expert advice on Technical Publications Development and Delivery. You will work within the Agile DevSecOps methodology adopted by the AIR6500 project, maintaining a Master Technical Data Index (MTDI) and ensuring all technical data processes align with the One Defence Capability System.
You will work with the Commonwealth, Strategic Partners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality capability. You will be instrumental in strategic ILS planning, ensuring governance requirements are met throughout the whole-of-system lifecycle.
Skills and Experience required include:
- Experience in Defence CASG ML or E&T program/project roles, or parallel civilian engineering/product support disciplines.
- Proven ability to rapidly assimilate and apply concepts within Defence Capability Systems.
- Strong analytical skills, with a commitment to accuracy and high-quality documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of S1000D international specification for technical publications is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Agile development and delivery methodologies is highly desirable.
Must have:
- NV1 security clearance (NV2 preferred).
