Where you'll be working

You will be working in MHICU, PECC and inpatient units within ESMHS, located on the Prince of Wales Hospital campus, Randwick.

Role Requirements
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the following criteria in your application:

  1. This role involves supporting consumers who may be experiencing mental ill-health, distress or challenging behaviours. Describe how your skills, experience or personal qualities would help you communicate effectively and respond appropriately in these situations.
  2. Describe a time when you noticed a change in someone's behaviour, wellbeing or circumstances that caused you concern. What did you observe, what action did you take, and how did you ensure the person's safety and wellbeing?
  3. Health and Security Assistants work closely with consumers, nursing staff, security staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Describe a time when you worked collaboratively with others to achieve a positive outcome for a customer, client, patient or colleague. What was your contribution?
