Hamilton Island Holiday Homes is seeking an experienced and dynamic Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team across a portfolio of luxury holiday homes, apartments, villas, and premium accommodation. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about presentation, guest satisfaction, and maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards in a luxury environment.

Your Role
As Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring all holiday homes and guest areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard. You'll lead by example, support training and rostering, and collaborate closely with Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Where you'll make an impact
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of Room Attendants
- Inspect guest rooms, villas, and public areas to ensure premium standards
- Coordinate linen usage and conduct regular stocktakes
- Liaise with Front Office and Maintenance regarding guest requirements
- Assist with team rostering and operational planning
- Support housekeeping operations during peak periods when required
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and service standards across all properties
- Help create memorable guest experiences through attention to detail
What we're looking for
You are an organised and detail-focused leader with strong communication skills and a passion for luxury service. You enjoy supporting teams, maintaining high standards, and thrive in fast-paced hospitality environments.
To be successful, you will need:
- Minimum 6-12 months' experience in a similar role within a 4-5 star property
- Luxury housekeeping experience (Highly regarded)
- Current open Driver Licence (Essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Positive attitude and commitment to exceptional guest service
- Ability to lead by example in a hands-on environment
