About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Field Service Engineer (BMS) to join a high-performing service team in Abbotsford.

This is a key role focused on delivering high-quality technical support across building automation environments, ensuring optimal system performance, minimising downtime, and maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and optimise building management and HVAC systems across multiple environments
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on control and automation systems
• Configure and support BMS platforms and associated applications
• Deliver exceptional customer service through effective site support and communication
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery and identify opportunities
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, and digital/automation initiatives

About You

• 5+ years' experience in BMS, building automation, or HVAC controls
• Strong technical knowledge of BACnet and system integration/configuration
• Experience working with modern BMS platforms (e.g. Niagara or similar systems)
• Engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics) or relevant trade background
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Nice to Have

• Exposure to security systems (CCTV, access control) or integrated building systems
• Understanding of networking or cyber-secure environments within building systems
