The role
As Senior Manager, Engineering Experience & AI, you shape the platform engineering roadmap and lead the developer experience and AI agenda across Technology & Delivery. You drive measurable improvements in how engineering teams engage with platform capabilities, enabling faster, safer and more confident delivery.

  • Define and own the Platform Engineering roadmap, aligning engineering needs with strategic priorities
  • Establish and evolve developer experience strategy, improving tooling, environments and pipelines
  • Lead the AI platform strategy and embed AI across the software development lifecycle
  • Drive adoption of internal developer platform and self-service capabilities
  • Build and lead a high-performing Engineering Experience & AI team
  • Influence platform direction and outcomes across multiple engineering functions

About you
You are a senior technology leader with a strong track record in platform engineering or engineering enablement, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You influence outcomes across complex environments and bring a product mindset to engineering platforms.

  • Proven experience leading platform-as-a-product or developer experience functions
  • Strong understanding of internal developer platforms and experience measurement frameworks
  • Hands-on experience applying AI in software delivery environments
  • Background in complex or regulated environments, ideally financial services
  • Ability to influence and drive outcomes without direct authority
  • Track record building and developing high-performing technical teams
