The Service

The Role
We are looking for a qualified Early Childhood Teacher to work 7.6 hours on a Wednesday. This role will initially be for 12 months. To support the philosophy at KU Bulli, we are looking for candidates that have:
- An interest in Creative Arts, STEM and inquiry-based learning, with a willingness to support children's curiosity, creativity and exploration.
- A commitment to sustainability and environmental education, including participation in nature-based learning experiences.
- A genuine appreciation for the role of families and communities in children's learning and development.
- A commitment to inclusive practices that support the participation, well being and success of every child.
- A willingness to learn, grow and contribute to a collaborative, high-quality early childhood education program.
Requirements
- Australian working rights
- A current NSW Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
- Completed training in Child Protection legislation and National Child Safety Training completed through Geccko
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
- NESA Teacher Accreditation
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
