National Ports & Maritime Lead

- Provide leadership in the Ports and Maritime Sector, to grow and develop this team in Australia;
- Lead client engagement and leverage established relationships to optimise opportunities for Arcadis;
- Develop and manage a pipeline of ports and maritime opportunities ;
- Provide technical leadership of Ports and Maritime projects, with appropriate project delivery support;
- Develop the technical capabilities of our team, expanding our services and client offering;
- Lead the pursuit of key opportunities, including undertaking client meetings to develop a pursuit strategy;
- Develop successful bid strategies for key opportunities;
- Develop client relationships and opportunities, whilst optimising commercial outcomes;
- Champion a client focused and entrepreneurial culture to the broader team; and

The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant 15+ years experience in the planning, design and engineering and delivery of Ports and Maritime Infrastructure
- Established industry network and relationships with clients in both the Government and Private sectors;
- A growth mindset and be passionate about developing and growing a team and work in this sector;
- Demonstrated experience and passion for leading and growing a team;
- Demonstrated experience of client engagement and pursuing and winning work;
- A good level of commercial understanding of project delivery;
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills;
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with both internal and external stakeholders together with strong presentation skills;
