Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking to hire a highly motivated, detail-oriented, innovative and professional leader as a Cluster Security Manager (CSM) for our Infrastructure Physical Security Department in Sydney, Australia. Reporting to the Multi Cluster Security Manager (MCSM) responsible for the Australia New Zealand region, you will lead a team of security professionals spanning the SYD West and SYD East clusters.

Key job responsibilities
Manage on-site operational physical security of Data Centers, including access control, guard force management, CCTV monitoring, and media security
Maintain compliance with SOC1, SOC2, ISO27001, and other regional and US government standards,
Lead, develop, and manage a team with varying skill sets, driving performance and professional growth.
Oversee vendor relationships including contract management, service delivery, training, and expense monitoring.
Devise and execute security strategies, drive process improvements, and enhance security awareness.
Collaborate with internal teams (DC Engineering, DC Operations) and external partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Conduct investigations of Code of Conduct violations, coordinate risk and threat assessments, and report security metrics.
Develop security plans for special events ensuring proper access control and evacuation procedures.
Partner with business units to identify security deficiencies and develop customised policies for internal and external compliance.
Work with global peers across geographic regions and travel as required.
