Canteen Assistant

48 hours per fortnight commencing Term 3 2026

Classification & Benefits:

This role is classified as Level (insert level) (averaged / unaveraged) under the NSW and ACT Systemic Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2025 as updated or reviewed.

Detailed information regarding the level, salary increments, and general employment conditions can be found within the Agreement.

Applicants must:

• hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
• have a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
  
• comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
• uphold high standards of cleanliness and ensure equipment maintenance is reported and logged.
• monitor Work Health and Safety (WHS) protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following criteria:

• Ability to identify the Mission of a Catholic School and demonstrate Christian values in dealing with children, parents, teachers and the general public
• Ability to work in a team environment and with school volunteers
• Ability to plan, organise, monitor canteen operations
• Food handling certificate - recommended
• Ability to fulfil all WHS policies and Procedures
