We're looking for a Workday Payroll Functional Analyst to play a key role in the delivery of our payroll transformation. You'll partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to shape requirements, design solutions and support end-to-end delivery of Workday Payroll.
This role is ideal for someone who combines deep AU payroll expertise with strong business analysis capability and hands-on Workday experience.

In this role you will:

• Lead payroll requirements gathering, analysis and documentation (HLRs, BRDs, user stories)
• Own and validate Workday Payroll workbooks for AU payroll
• Design end-to-end payroll processes and support solution design decisions
• Conduct impact and gap analysis, providing clear recommendations
• Support testing - including test case creation, execution, defect triage and payroll validation
• Deliver parallel payroll testing, including scenario development and reconciliation
• Manage requirements lifecycle, including traceability and alignment across streams
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions align to legislative and business needs
• Contribute to a strong risk, compliance and control environment

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

• Experience delivering Workday Payroll (AU) implementations
• Strong knowledge of AU payroll legislation, ATO reporting and compliance
• Proven experience in parallel payroll testing, reconciliation and balancing
• Experience translating awards/EBAs into system rules
• Strong business analysis capability across complex transformation programs
• Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders
• Experience working across Agile and Waterfall environments
• Nice to have: Workday HCM knowledge, Exposure to UK payroll
