About the role:

We are on the hunt for our next Account Coordinator to join the Herd MSL Technology PR team in Sydney.

In this role, you'll support the delivery of integrated communications campaigns for some of the world's most recognised brands. You'll work alongside experienced PR professionals to assist with media relations, reporting, research, content development and account management, while building the foundations of a successful career in communications.

No two days are the same. From researching media trends and journalist interests, to drafting media releases and pitches, coordinating client reporting and supporting campaign delivery, you'll gain hands-on exposure to all aspects of agency life. As you grow in confidence, you'll have the opportunity to build media relationships and pitch stories directly to journalists.

In terms of skills and experience, ideally, you'll have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail
• A curious mindset and genuine interest in media, communications and current affairs
• The confidence to ask questions, take initiative and embrace new challenges
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Awareness of social, cultural and news trends
• Exposure to PR, communications, journalism, marketing or related fields is advantageous but not essential
• Basic experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot would be beneficial
