As a Field Service Technician, your role is to service customer sites with a focus on Automation, Controls, Security Management and CCTV systems. Work with legacy systems, cloud-based systems and remote/mobile tasking to dynamically drive actions and provide recommendations to customers on building security and improvements. This role is ideal to someone who would like to be part of projects work/deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver SSJs (small service Jobs) on time and within budget
• Engineer and/or assist in the engineering of SSJs
• Commission SSJs/upgrades
• Liaise with customers and deliver exceptional service
• Carry out hazard and risk assessments for all tasks as per company policy and procedures
• Ensure our workplaces are safe through the reporting of SOS', following procedures

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Trade background in Security/CCTV industry
• 3-5 years of experience relevant experience in electronic security
• Knowledge of Security, Access controls, CCTV DDC and controls systems and/or experience in ICT and network communication
• Basic knowledge of electrical diagrams and electrical switching
• Experience in Electronic security and controls - locking out ports to specific devices
• Good planning and time management (desirable)
• Small /medium estimation of works and pricing (desirable)
• Requires full Driving license
• Must pass QLD criminal checks
