About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a DIDO 10/4 roster from Perth and play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering outcomes across major projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for improving the efficiency, constructability, and delivery of mechanical and process design outputs-working both independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake professional engineering work with minimal supervision
  • Review and interpret mechanical and process designs for technical accuracy, efficiency, and constructability
  • Plan and manage design development processes in line with project timelines and company procedures
  • Coordinate design interfaces across engineering disciplines, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Support the development of construction methodologies and staging plans for both tender and delivery phases
  • Ensure quality control standards for engineering design outputs are met
  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior engineers and technical staff

About You

You are a proactive and technically strong engineer with a passion for delivering practical and efficient engineering solutions.

Your experience includes:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering within process or industrial plant environments
  • Experience supervising or mentoring technical teams
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with digital engineering tools such as AutoCAD or MicroStation (highly regarded)
