About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a DIDO 10/4 roster from Perth and play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering outcomes across major projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for improving the efficiency, constructability, and delivery of mechanical and process design outputs-working both independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake professional engineering work with minimal supervision
- Review and interpret mechanical and process designs for technical accuracy, efficiency, and constructability
- Plan and manage design development processes in line with project timelines and company procedures
- Coordinate design interfaces across engineering disciplines, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Support the development of construction methodologies and staging plans for both tender and delivery phases
- Ensure quality control standards for engineering design outputs are met
- Provide guidance and oversight to junior engineers and technical staff
About You
You are a proactive and technically strong engineer with a passion for delivering practical and efficient engineering solutions.
Your experience includes:
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering within process or industrial plant environments
- Experience supervising or mentoring technical teams
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with digital engineering tools such as AutoCAD or MicroStation (highly regarded)
