The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team based in Helensvale.
Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, this role will take ownership of developing and executing marketing initiatives that promote our services, capabilities and brand across Australia. As a marketing all-rounder, you will lead the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, digital marketing activities, content creation, brand communications and promotional initiatives that support business growth, customer engagement and brand awareness.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will be responsible for turning strategy into action-driving marketing activity from concept through to execution, measuring performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced marketer who is highly organised, commercially minded and capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy. You will be trusted to manage and deliver marketing initiatives with minimal direction, bringing strong judgement, initiative and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and achieving results. Key Responsibilities
Marketing Campaigns & Brand Management
- Plan, coordinate and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, content, email and traditional channels.
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of marketing initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
- Develop advertising and promotional communications that support business objectives and brand awareness.
- Maintain brand governance and ensure consistency across all internal and external communications.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to identify opportunities and inform marketing activity.
- Drive the ongoing development and promotion of the organisation's brand, services and capabilities.
Digital Marketing & Content
- Lead digital marketing and social media activity across platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and emerging channels.
- Create, manage and optimise content across websites, social media, email marketing and other owned channels.
- Manage website content, landing pages and user experience improvements to drive engagement and lead generation.
- Implement SEO best practices and digital optimisation initiatives to improve online visibility and performance.
- Develop compelling written and visual content for digital, social, website, email and internal communication channels.
- Take ownership of content planning, content creation and campaign execution across multiple channels.
- Support media, public relations and industry communication activities, including media releases, award submissions and corporate announcements.
Creative & Asset Management
- Manage creative briefs, workflows, approvals and production timelines.
- Coordinate the development of marketing collateral, digital assets and promotional materials.
- Manage print production, including supplier liaison, quotations, proofing and delivery.
- Work closely with external agencies, designers, photographers, videographers and production partners to deliver high-quality marketing outcomes.
- Partner with internal stakeholders with the development of marketing and communication materials.
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
- Build strong relationships with internal teams to identify marketing opportunities and support business objectives.
- Collaborate with external suppliers and agencies to deliver effective marketing initiatives.
- Provide marketing advice and recommendations to stakeholders across the business.
- Act as a trusted marketing resource, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and professionally.
Reporting & Marketing Operations
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, website traffic, social media activity and key marketing metrics.
- Analyse marketing performance data and provide insights and recommendations to improve future outcomes.
- Leverage analytics, customer insights and market intelligence to support decision-making.
- Manage marketing administration, including purchase orders, invoices, budget tracking and reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting dashboards and campaign documentation.
About You
You are an experienced marketing professional who thrives in an autonomous environment and enjoys taking ownership of marketing outcomes from planning through to execution. You are confident making decisions, managing competing priorities and driving initiatives forward with minimal supervision. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and are comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Experience
- 7+ years' experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing or a related field.
- Tertiary qualification - Business, Marketing, Communications or similar (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience delivering successful marketing campaigns that have contributed to measurable business outcomes.
- Strong experience across digital marketing, content marketing, social media, communications and campaign management.
- Experience managing websites and content management systems (CMS), including WordPress.
- Strong understanding of SEO, website optimisation and digital marketing best practices.
- Experience using marketing analytics tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta Business Suite and similar platforms.
- Proven ability to analyse marketing performance and translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience managing external agencies, creative suppliers and marketing partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience incorporating AI tools and emerging technologies into marketing planning and execution.
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, mining or related industries will be highly regarded.
