The Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your skills to gather, review and interpret data from various sources and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders so they can make informed decisions that are aligned with Communicare's strategic objectives.

This is a permanent full-time role working 76 hours per fortnight, and is located in Cannington.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of data governance frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives and support service reviews

  • Contribute to the organisational analysis and reporting strategy that can be applied to various data sources and cater to different project objectives.

  • Develop and maintain efficient and effective collection and reporting of key information data and dashboard for Communicare programs and Communicare Group Executive team.

  • Contribute to data analysis, using a variety of methods and statistical techniques, and business intelligence reporting solutions for data driven decision making to drive growth and continuous improvement.

  • Promote a data awareness culture throughout the organisation

  • Contribute to the development of processes and procedures, ensuring quality outcomes and results for stakeholders.

  • Support strategic decision-making through evaluation of initiatives, campaigns and service performance.

  • Works collaboratively with internal stakeholders to identify reporting requirements

  • Provides insights that are aligned with Communicare strategic objectives.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Data Science, Engineering or Economics, or related field or relevant experience in a similar role, including experience with cloud-based relational and/or non-relational databases

  • Experience in a similar role, including experience with cloud-based relational and/or non-relational databases.

  • Knowledge of data architecture and governance methodologies.

  • Advanced business intelligence skills, particularly in data structures, analysis and complex query development in Power BI, or similar platforms

  • Advanced abilities in data science modelling and analysis, aligned to academic research methods

  • Current drivers' licence, or the ability to travel to Communicare Perth-based Service sites, as required

  • Willingness to obtain a Department of Justice Clearance if required.

  • Salary Range: SCHADS Award Level 4 ($92,247 - $99,291) + super (commensurate with skills and experience)
