Principal Engineer
The Role
We are seeking a Principal Engineer who operates at the highest level of the individual contributor track. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll be equally comfortable diving deep into implementation details as you are shaping how we design, build, and scale software across the organisation.
You bring deep expertise in backend systems, cloud infrastructure, distributed architectures, and AI-powered product development. More importantly, you use that expertise to elevate engineering quality, influence technical direction, and drive better outcomes across teams.
Working alongside experienced engineering managers and technical leaders, you'll influence through technical credibility, sound judgement, and clear thinking-not organisational hierarchy. You'll help establish engineering standards, guide architectural decisions, and continuously raise the bar for how we build software at FrankieOne.
