Our Water Division is expanding, creating an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader, Treatment (Process) to join our New South Wales team based in Sydney. In this leadership role, you will guide a specialist multidisciplinary team delivering water and wastewater treatment projects, strengthen process capability, support emerging engineers, and ensure highquality, reliable outcomes for communities across the state.
A day in the life of a Team Leader, Treatment (Process) could look like:
Lead, mentor and inspire a multidisciplinary team of engineers delivering exciting and complex treatment projects within a consulting environment.
Foster a fun, successoriented, collaborative, and inclusive environment that reflects our core values and supports the strategic direction of the business through direct interactions with team members and project work.
Identify and capitalise on engaging work opportunities for the team that support engagement and career development through effective networking, business development, delegation, and backlog development.
Support team members to achieve their career goals with a clear and engaging development plan as well as support to enact the plan.
Lead the full talent lifecycle, including recruitment input, career development, engagement, succession planning, coaching, mentoring, diversity and inclusion, and leadership growth.
Lead the team's Health Safety & Wellbeing performance through example, including modelling of best-practice approach to safety, supporting and rewarding team members who improve safety culture and encourage proactive risk management.
Partner with Team Leaders locally and across regions to strengthen collaboration, resource sharing, and consistency across the BC.

Support the Group Leader in resourcing management, including identifying resourcing constraints and gaps, monitoring team performance and delivery outcomes.
To be successful for this role you'll present:
Relevant qualifications - Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Chemical, Process or equivalent) with CPEng or eligibility.
Process design expertise - Minimum 7 years' process technical experience in water and wastewater treatment, including conceptual and detailed design of treatment processes, equipment, and plant upgrades.
Technical leadership - Senior process engineering capability across mass balances, hydraulic profiles, process modelling, optimisation, commissioning support and integration with mechanical, electrical and controls systems.
Team and project delivery - Experience leading small engineering teams within complex, multidisciplinary projects.
esign quality oversight - Ability to ensure process deliverables meet safety, operability, regulatory and performance requirements.
Peoplecentric leadership - Proven ability to build and lead highperforming teams across regions and service lines.
Multidisciplinary leadership - Strong capability in coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and managing subcontractors.

Problem solving and negotiation - Highly developed skills to resolve technical, commercial and delivery challenges.

D&C delivery experience - Strong understanding of D&C and alternative delivery models, particularly for treatment plant design, construction, commissioning and optimisation.
