Communications Officer, Public Health Communications & Behaviour Change
Expressions of interest are being sought from NSW Government staff wishing to apply to this seven (7) month opportunity. To be eligible to apply for this role, you must be a permanent/ongoing employee or a temporary employee within NSW Government.
This is a secondment opportunity where you are required to have permission from your home agency to be released from your usual duties for the period.

About this role
We are hiring! Come and join the Public Health Communication & Behaviour Change Unit at NSW Ministry of Health. The Communications Officer role supports the planning and implementation of public health communications initiatives and marketing campaigns to improve health outcomes for the people of NSW.
Crown Clerk 7/8, salary from $113,574 - $125,720 plus Super and annual leave loading.

What you'll be doing
- Assist in developing content (including researching, writing and editing) for a range of internal and external channels.
- Assist in developing and implementing communication and campaign strategies targeting identified audiences to support public health objectives.
- Support NSW Government Advertising compliance processes.
- Engage stakeholders across NSW Health, local, state and federal governments and maintain relationships through effective communication.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Public Health Communications & Behaviour Change Unit.
