Remuneration: $64,364.87 - $73,275.93 per annum
Hours Per Week: 18 (Monday and Friday, two days per week)

What you'll be doing
In this role, you will ensure the safe reprocessing, sterilisation and distribution of reusable medical equipment to support clinical services and patient care.
Collect, clean, disinfect and sterilise reusable medical instruments
Operate specialised equipment including washer disinfectors and sterilisers
Pack and prepare instrument sets in line with AS/NZ standards
Monitor, test and document sterilisation processes and report issues
Prioritise workload demands and communicate effectively with clinical teams

Essential Criteria:
Qualifications: Sterilisation Services Certificate III
Selection Criteria:
1. Certificate in sterilising services and experience in working in a Hospital Sterilising services department one year or more
2. Sound understanding and Knowledge of infection Control requirements , Standards AS/NZ 4187 and ISO in a health care setting
3. Demonstrated communication skills - including Verbal, Written and interpersonal abilities
4. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and busy environment with changing priorities and work demands
5. Knowledge and understanding of WH&S legislation and Manual handling techniques to maintain safety in the workplace
6. Physically capable of performing all duties-including chemical handling, Biological hazards, Standing for long periods, lifting pushing and pulling loads
