What you'll be doing
As a Clinical Support Officer in the Cardio-Thoracic ICU, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Nursing Unit Manager and broader clinical team, ensuring smooth and efficient unit function.

Coordinate and maintain accurate data entry across HR, finance, rostering, payroll and clinical systems

Support workforce operations including rostering updates, recruitment administration and leave processing

Monitor compliance requirements such as staff registrations and escalate expiries as required

Assist with patient-related documentation, reporting and administrative coordination to support care delivery

Provide high-level administrative support for meetings, quality activities, incident reporting and unit operations

Selection Criteria:

1. Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.

2. Ability to undertake a diverse range of administrative tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.

3. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving ability.

4. Demonstrated superior organisational skills and experience in office administration, preferably in a health care environment.

5. Ability to work independently and within the multidisciplinary environment.

6. Computer literate, Data entry and Roster management
