About the role
Providing a quality and safe environment for the care of patients is the shared responsibility of all staff and the Health & Security Assistant is an integral and valued member of our team.

The Health & Security Assistant role provides support to the nursing team in the delivery of patient care as directed by nursing staff, general assistance in wards, cleaning duties and portering for patient transfers around the facility and undertakes security related duties as required and or directed.

You will have a current NSW Security Industries License 1A, a current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes and the ability, a and willingness to work shifts, on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

This position is managed by Downer on a day-to-day basis. We have multiple casual opportunities available. The successful applicants will be physically based at the Bathurst site, a part of the Western NSW Local Health District.

You will be well supported in this role and receive direction, supervision, development opportunities and feedback in relation the duties of this role and communicate achievements and challenges.
