About the role
The Radiation Therapist Supervisor will help to lead the daily service delivery of radiation oncology across WNSWLHD. You will oversee, guide, and instruct Radiation Therapists and students ensuring high levels of performance and skill development.
The WNSWLHD District Radiation Oncology Service, works across two sites (Orange and Dubbo). We have approximately 20 Radiation Therapists at Orange and 12 in Dubbo. The successful applicant will work with the Chief Radiation Therapist for WNSWLHD, Deputy Chief Radiation Therapists Central West Cancer Care and Radiation Therapist Supervisor at Western Cancer Centre Dubbo.
We are a diverse team with a broad skill set. We are progressive, innovative, and use evidence-based techniques with sub-specialist Radiation Oncologists model of care.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 70-hour fortnight during clinical hours of 7:00am - 6:00pm.
You will be well supported in this role with strong orientation programs developed and supported by radiation therapist educators at Orange and Dubbo. We hold regular meetings with the radiation oncology management team.
