Senior Integration and Test Engineer (Software)

At Anduril we are developing multi-domain unmanned systems that will leverage unsupervised autonomy for the delivery of integrated multi-mission capability to our customers. These projects require Integration and Test Engineers with hands-on experience to drive the delivery of hardware-focused capabilities to our customers. Anduril I&T Engineers rapidly develop expertise in new domains in order to architect, design, deliver, support, and evolve next generation capabilities through the entire product life-cycle.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Work within a dynamic team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists throughout the life of AUV design, integration, and test efforts
  • Support design and integration of AUV subsystems and components, including electrical systems and software
  • Develop, build and operate physical integration environments to support system maturity efforts
  • Write software to automate testing of hardware and software systems, including test frameworks and data analysis tools
  • Debug and troubleshoot electrical and software integration issues
  • Write, review and execute test plans for internal and customer-facing efforts to test and evaluate AUV platforms and new capabilities
  • Provides subject matter expertise to test operations for AUV platforms, including conducting pre-mission testing, vehicle tasking, and data analysis
  • Support infield debug, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs
  • May be in the field up to 20% of the time, supporting nearshore and offshore testing

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A genuine interest and 4+ years experience in software, mechatronic, electrical or systems engineering, with a focus on integration and test
  • Proficiency in software development for test automation and data analysis
  • Strong experience with Linux, command line interfaces and network debugging
  • Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting and hands-on experience using test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and logic analysers
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, sensor integration, or robotics control concepts
  • Familiarity with concepts of mechanical engineering and control theory
  • Extremely organised and detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • A sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture
  • Experience with subsea operational procedures and equipment (including AUV launch and recovery systems) is advantageous, as is vehicle level testing (any domain)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security Clearance
