Apply Job no: 4AACN Category: Nursing & Midwifery, Perioperative The Opportunity The team at Benalla Health are seeking a skilled, adaptable and reliable Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative & Day Procedure Services team. This position is a 12month fixedterm parental leave cover (July 2026 - July 2027). The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide safe, personcentred and evidencebased nursing care across multiple clinical areas, including the Day Procedure Unit (DPU), PreAdmission Clinic, and PostAnaesthetic Care Unit (PACU), working flexibly based on service needs. In this role, you will be responsible for: Delivering highquality nursing care across the patient journey, from preadmission assessment through to postprocedure recovery Supporting efficient patient flow and positive clinical outcomes within the Day Procedure Unit Conducting thorough preadmission assessments and patient education in the PreAdmission Clinic Providing safe and effective monitoring and recovery care for patients in PACU This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and values delivering coordinated, patientcentred care across multiple perioperative settings.
