Job description:

Undertake a range of multiple, diverse and complex tasks and provide high level administrative support to the Tribunal, in particular the President and Principal Registrar, in the discharge of its statutory assessment functions and powers.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.

Duties

  • Provide comprehensive/high-level administrative support to the President and Principal Registrar, including the coordination of confidential correspondence and other documentation, initiating and preparing responses where required or as directed by the President and Principal Registrar.
  • Prepare and disseminate correspondence and briefing papers for Tribunal meetings and liaise with the President and Principal Registrar, Tribunal staff and Tribunal Members to prepare the Tribunal's meeting agendas, minutes, and associated reports.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with the President and Principal Registrar, Divisional Heads, Deputy Presidents and senior Government officers, whilst coordinating associated confidential duties to support the President and Principal Registrar in their day to day functions.
  • Prepare policies, procedures and established standards to ensure a high standard of service delivery. Undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties as a member of the Tribunal Registry including duties allocated by the President and Principal Registrar.
  • Perform other duties as envisaged by the assigned classification under the relevant award and in accordance with the skills, competence and training of the occupant

Desirable Requirements

  • A current motor vehicle driver's licence.

  1. Pre-employment (National Police Record) checks for: Arson and fire setting, violent crimes and crimes against the person, sex-related offences, drug and alcohol related offences, crimes involving dishonesty, deception and/or conspiracy, making false declarations, malicious damage and destruction to property, serious traffic offences, crimes against public order or relating to the Administration of Law and Justice, Executive or the Legislative Power.
  2. Disciplinary action in previous employment.
  3. Identification check.
