The Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Testing Technician to join our growing team in Brisbane. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, testing, repairs, and installations across a range of fire safety and electrical systems.
As a key representative of FSQ in the field, you will ensure all works are completed to a high standard, in line with fire industry regulations and compliance requirements. This role plays an important part in maintaining safety standards and delivering quality service to our clients.

What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out routine testing, maintenance, and repairs of electrical and fire safety systems
- Responding to service callouts and managing defect rectification works
- Installing and commissioning electrical and fire safety equipment
- Accurately recording job data, reports, and compliance documentation
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant legislation, codes, and standards
- Maintaining effective communication with supervisors, coordinators, and clients
- Managing equipment, tools, and materials required for each job
- Representing the business professionally as the face of FSQ on-site
- Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship, and attention to detail
Your Skills, Experience & Attributes
- Current electrical trade licence (essential)
- Meet QBCC requirements
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, fire safety products, and relevant industry standards
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Current Open Driver's Licence
- White Card
- Ability to pass police checks and medicals where required
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Full working rights in Australia (essential)
