As we continue to deliver & evolve, we are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator - Electrical to join our team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Electrical Estimator plays a critical role in delivering accurate, competitive, and commercially sound electrical estimates. You'll lead estimating activities from tender allocation through to submission, working closely with engineering, commercial, and delivery teams to support winning bids.
Your Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate electrical cost estimates
Develop direct and indirect cost estimates using UGL estimating systems
Coordinate with engineering, commercial, and delivery teams during tenders
Engage suppliers and subcontractors to source pricing and technical inputs
Prepare tender submissions and present estimates to internal stakeholders
Support client meetings, posttender clarifications, and bid reviews
Review estimates prepared by other estimators and support continuous improvement
Handover awarded projects to delivery teams to ensure estimating continuity
Your Skills & Experience
Extensive estimating experience in electrical or energy projects
Strong background across renewables, utilities, or infrastructure projects
Proven experience delivering estimates in competitive tender environments
Solid understanding of electrical scopes, project costs, and risk assessment
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Degree or Diploma in Engineering (desirable)
