Site Supervisor - Logistics
UGL's Energy & Industrial national business unit is experiencing rapid growth, and we need motivated and capable people to join our team. UGL's in-house engineering and design capability, together with our strong project delivery and operations and maintenance expertise puts us in a strong position in the market. Our target project opportunities include Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and Wind Projects, as well as Hydrogen and Ammonia projects.
As we continue to grow, we're seeking a proactive and solutions-focused Logistics Supervisor to coordinate complex deliveries and ensure seamless site operations. at our site in Muchea, Western Australia
This role is offered on a 10:4 roster, home every night.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising daily logistics activities, with a key focus on deliveries into the site. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where safety, planning and stakeholder collaboration are essential to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily delivery schedules and offloading activities in alignment with site operations
- Act as the primary point of contact for transport contractors on site
- Manage arrival, offloading, and sequencing of OSOM deliveries
- Conduct regular site inspections (hardstands, access roads) to ensure readiness
- Monitor and report delivery performance, delays, and any incidents
- Collaborate with site teams to minimise disruptions and optimise logistics flow
- Make real-time decisions in response to changing site conditions (e.g. weather, access constraints)
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and safety standards
About You
You are a resilient, organised and confident communicator who thrives in a high-pressure environment and enjoys problem-solving on the ground.
Key Requirements
- Experience in logistics, transport, or procurement (construction experience highly regarded)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory role
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities and make decisions under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook)
- Current Driver's Licence
