About the Opportunity:
KU Biyala Kindergarten is now open and welcoming families and children into our vibrant learning community. Architecturally designed and purpose built, Biyala Kindergarten is a sessional kindergarten in Armstrong Creek providing a high-quality government-funded kindergarten program.
We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our Echidna group, working:
- Tuesdays - 8 hour session (including lunch break)
- Fridays - 2 hours non-contact programming time
Our kindergarten operates in line with the Victorian school term calendar under VECTEA, supporting a sustainable work pattern with regular school holiday breaks. You'll work set session times, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality educational programs while maintaining balance in your week.
You'll be joining an amazing team who are committed to creating a positive, collaborative culture and delivering meaningful learning outcomes for children and families.
What We're Looking For
- A completed ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates and approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
- VIT Registration/ Current Employee VIC Working with Children Check
- Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- Strong understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010), National Regulations (2011), and VEYLDF
