The CAF16 ICT Security Consultant is an expert Security and Accreditation

practitioner who

supports the CAF16 Integrated Product Manager (IPdM) and System Managers (SMs)

in fulfilling their Security and Accreditation responsibilities.

Requirements of the Role:

This role is responsible for the conduct of following tasks and activities

within the JC2SPO domain:

a. Provide System Certification and Accreditation activities as representatives

of the Defence ICT Security Branch (ICTSB) in JC2SPO as directed by the CAF16 IPdM;

b. System Certification and Accreditation activities as mandated by the Defence

ICTSB in accordance with ASDs Information Security Risk Assessors Program (IRAP),

and/or approved by ICTSB to be a Security Assessor;

c. Auditing the effectiveness of system security measures deployed;

d. Review of system security documentation, policies and procedures to ensure

alignment with organizational security objectives and Australian Govt. cyber

security standards and guidelines;

e. Identification, analysis, evaluation and escalation of information security

and business risks;

f. Protection of the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of Defence

Information and Systems;
