About the role

We are entering an exciting period of growth across Victoria, with expanding course demand and new training opportunities on the horizon.

In this role, you will deliver and assess a range of accredited first aid courses, supporting diverse communities across urban, regional, and remote locations. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, engaging learning experiences that support positive outcomes for every participant. The role will also include supporting non-accredited training, kit and equipment management (including stock control and maintenance), and other operational duties as needed.

The ideal candidate will be located in or near Wangaratta, with ability to travel to Albury, Shepparton, and the greater Ovens Murray region. Additional travel across Southern NSW may also be required from time to time

  • Confident using digital systems to support training delivery

Essential requirements

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent
  • Own reliable transport
  • Current Australian driver’s licence
  • Current Working with Children Check (must hold a check for both Victoria and New South Wales)

Desirable

  • Experience delivering to a diverse range of clients
  • Understanding of ASQA compliance requirements
  • Current first aid qualifications (e.g. HLTAID011 or higher)
  • Experience in wilderness, remote, or outdoor first aid settings
  • Ability to deliver specialised or higher-level first aid training (highly regarded)

Further information

This role is covered by the Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award 2020, Level 9. Pay from $72.48/hour (inclusive of casual loading) + superannuation, plus access to salary packaging.
