About the role

Join us as a Finance Systems Analyst and drive operational excellence across our finance function. Reporting to the Manager – Finance Systems, you will ensure our finance systems are robust, secure, and optimised, enabling reliable reporting, strong financial controls, and seamless endtoend processes.

In this highly collaborative role, you’ll act as the key link between Finance, IT, and delivery partners, translating complex accounting and business requirements into practical, high-impact system solutions. Your work will directly support smarter decision-making, improved efficiency, and ongoing finance transformation across the organisation.

You’ll take ownership of governance and configuration within D365 Finance, safeguarding data integrity and compliance while identifying opportunities to simplify processes, enhance automation, and improve user experience. From leading system enhancements and UAT to supporting reporting insights and driving change adoption, you’ll play a pivotal role in leveraging systems to unlock value across finance.

About you

You are an experienced Finance Systems Analyst with high level of knowledge, skill and functional capability in D365 Finance (F&O) with strong understanding of finance operations and accounting principles. You bring a strong blend of technical expertise, commercial insight and stakeholder management and a proven ability to translate business and accounting requirements into robust system configurations and practical solutions.

Key person requirements

  • Sound analytical skills and demonstrated ability to assess, evaluate and solve problems and exercise initiative and judgment where practices and procedures are not clearly defined
  • Demonstrated sound technical knowledge and expertise in systems configurations, integrations and data management
  • High attention to detail and strong data governance mindset; committed to strong controls and auditability
  • Demonstrated experience with reporting and analytics tools (Power BI, Excel, Financial Reports)
  • Effective communication both verbally and in writing, with the ability to engage stakeholders and support change adoption through documentation and training
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver end-to-end system changes (requirements to build/configuration to test to release to stabilise)
  • Ability to provide expert advice to employees and volunteers at all levels
  • Ability to work with autonomy in addition to leading teams and people from diverse backgrounds to create a collaborative working environment

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 5. Salary from $100,776.00 + superannuation + salary packaging options.
