Job Summary
PPI Quality & Engineering is seeking experienced Upstream Oil & Gas Quality Control Specialists to support inspection activities for Hancock Energy on an ad hoc basis in Perth, Western Australia. This role is ideal for highly experienced professionals with a strong background in upstream oil and gas operations who can independently assess equipment quality, compliance, and workmanship while providing detailed inspection reporting.About the role
- Inspect upstream oil and gas equipment to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Verify equipment quality, specifications, and conformance to project requirements.
- Identify and document non-conformances, deficiencies, and quality issues.
- Produce comprehensive Daily Activity Reports detailing inspections performed, findings, and work completed.
- Maintain professional communication with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure all inspections are conducted safely and in accordance with company and site requirements.
Do you have what it takes?
Essential
- Minimum 7 years' experience within the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated experience working for an oil and gas operator, supplier, contractor, or client organization.
- Strong understanding of upstream oil and gas equipment and quality inspection processes.
- Excellent written reporting and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage ad hoc assignments.
Preferred
- Mechanical Trade Qualification.
- Electrical Trade Qualification.
- Additional quality inspection certifications or relevant industry training are advantageous.
