Illawarra Sports High School is a growing, partially selective sports school with an enrolment of 1000 students. Located on Dharawal country on the northern shores of Lake Illawarra, the school is a proud member of the Berkeley Community of Schools. It welcomes local students alongside talented athletes from across the wider Illawarra, Wingecarribee and Shoalhaven regions. Approval to teach Construction and hold the current updated course qualifications.

Demonstrated capacity to implement effective classroom management strategies with the ability to manage practical workspaces to create a classroom environment that is safe, engaging, inclusive and fosters a culture of high expectations.

Demonstrated ability to work as a proactive member of a faculty with highly developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with proven ability to build positive and productive working relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community.

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
