The Role
Provide and maintain high-level administrative support services for the Food Service Manager and Management group, including the preparation and coordination of confidential documents, correspondence submissions and reports as required. This includes, but is not limited to, undertaking administrative tasks associated with Food Service recruitment, coordination and quoting for function bookings, schedule meetings and other appointments, assume responsibility for agenda papers and meeting minutes, managing administration systems, maintaining files and processing correspondence, which is often confidential and highly sensitive in nature.
You will need
- Proficiently use a variety of software programs including but not limited to; Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Publisher, HR - Page Up, Kitchen Hand and maintain complex databases and spreadsheets, sourcing, collating and inputting data as required.
- Provide compressive and professional reception, clerical and computer based administration support to the Manager and management team. Routine and specialised clerical and office management activities to be performed with attention to detail and utilising effective time management skills.
- Perform relief duties for Food Services Supervisors, as required in Distribution and Cafeteria areas of the Food Services Department, including daily reconciliation of cash registers, float preparation and banking for Cafeteria operations.

Details of appointment
Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.
*Working Monday to Friday, shifts times consist of 6:00am - 2:30pm and 7:00am - 3:30pm.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$76,849 to $82,996 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025.
