An opportunity has become available to join our fast-paced team at our Camperdown and St Marys location.
You will ideally have experience in a previous dispatch role, demonstrate initiative and an energetic, can-do, hands-on approach. The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
About the Role:
- Store stock allocation
- Taping and lifting boxes onto pallets for sending
- Dispatching of stock daily via courier
- Moving pallets via pallet jack
- Allocating stationery and inventory supplies to Stores
- Daily use of wrap machine for pallets
- Unloading 20ft and 40ft containers weekly
- Heavy and repetitive lifting, must be physically fit as there is a lot of manual lifting involved - up to 25kg
- Warehouse and Logistics duties
- Stock and Supplier spot checks
- Picking and packing
- Must be available to work full time and have PR status
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- Must have at least 1+ years’ experience in a warehouse environment
- Be reliable, fast, and accurate
- Must have strong communication and motivational skills
- Work productively to Courier timeframes
- Consistently meet and exceed minimum performance requirements
- Maintain an orderly condition of your assigned work area
- Be flexible and cooperative when asked to support other departments and/or job functions
- Ability to work well with others in a group and foster a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where repetitive activity does take place
- Able to work additional hours as required to support the needs of the business
- A high level of enthusiasm and energy
- Good clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Forklift licence (desirable)
