What you'll Do

You will lead the delivery of Quality Assurance across our Spearwood operations, providing practical support, advice, and guidance to all areas of the business. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing ISO-aligned quality systems, ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines, and maintaining clear, up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions across the region.

What Experience and Education You Need.

  • Lead the ongoing management and compliance of Quality systems across the region, ensuring alignment with ISO standards and relevant regulatory and customer requirements (e.g. WQA, SQF, DAFF, Primesafe).

  • Provide quality and compliance support to the business by coaching and empowering line managers to effectively lead quality outcomes.

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying, analysing, and communicating quality risks, trends, and improvement opportunities to site leadership.

  • Manage and execute the internal audit program, including planning, conducting, documenting audits, and coordinating external audit activities.

  • Monitor SOPs and quality processes to ensure ongoing effectiveness, compliance, and adherence to operational requirements.

  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, and develop, implement, and monitor corrective and preventative actions.

  • Prepare and deliver clear reporting on quality performance, audit outcomes, and risk management activities to key stakeholders.

  • Maintain document control systems, ensuring all quality documentation is current, accurate, and compliant.

  • Identify quality training needs and partner with HR to develop and deliver training programs that build capability and awareness.

  • Promote a collaborative, quality-focused culture that supports organisational objectives and continuous improvement.

What Experience and Education you Need

  • Bachelors degree preferred

  • Certifications an advantage including ISO Quality Auditor, Six Sigma; Kaizan

  • Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience

  • experience with implementation of corrective action programs

  • product or industry-specific experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is essential).

  • Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA

  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
