About the Role

Deliver friendly, efficient cafe service while preparing quality food and beverages and maintaining a welcoming, clean environment.

What You'll deliver

  • Provide friendly, efficient customer service, ensuring a welcoming cafe experience for all patrons
  • Prepare and serve high-quality food and beverages in line with safety and presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of cafe areas, equipment, and food preparation spaces
  • Accurately process transactions and handle cash using point-of-sale systems
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet service goals and maintain smooth daily operations

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience working in a cafe, hospitality, or similar customer-focused environment and or qualifications
  • Food Safety Handler Level 1 (or willingness to obtain)
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Advanced First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude to support day-to-day cafe operations
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check, and Functional Assessment (Medical/physio)
