Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in customer service within the hospitality sector, with demonstrated hands-on experience across conferences, plated dinners, cocktail parties, restaurants, and bar environments.
  • Strong proficiency in food & beverage service standards, including plated and set-menu service, cocktail and canapé service, conference and event service, beverage knowledge, and coffee crafting skills (strongly valued).
  • Confident in operating within high-volume restaurant and bar settings, delivering efficient, polished service while maintaining exceptional guest engagement.
  • Ability to adapt seamlessly across diverse food & beverage environments, with flexibility to work varied schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with event teams, kitchen staff, and front-of-house colleagues.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to presentation, cleanliness, and precise setup and pack-down of service areas.
  • Possession of a valid RSA or an equivalent qualification for the relevant Country / State / Territory.
  • Genuine passion for hospitality, guest experience, and contributing positively within a diverse team.
