About You
- Degree-qualified in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in underground mining environments, ideally across development and production
- Strong understanding of project planning, cost control, and contract management
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with site teams and stakeholders
- Results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performing environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and delivering outcomes on time
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute underground development and production activities in line with project plans and targets
- Support short- and long-term planning, scheduling, and forecasting to optimise project delivery
- Track and report on project performance, including productivity, costs, and timelines
- Ensure compliance with site safety standards, statutory requirements, and company procedures
- Work closely with Superintendents, Supervisors, and underground crews to drive efficient and safe outcomes
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports, documentation, and progress updates
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance
- Assist with resource coordination, including labour, equipment, and materials
- Promote a strong safety culture and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment
