About You

  • Degree-qualified in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in underground mining environments, ideally across development and production
  • Strong understanding of project planning, cost control, and contract management
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with site teams and stakeholders
  • Results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and compliance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performing environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and delivering outcomes on time

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute underground development and production activities in line with project plans and targets
  • Support short- and long-term planning, scheduling, and forecasting to optimise project delivery
  • Track and report on project performance, including productivity, costs, and timelines
  • Ensure compliance with site safety standards, statutory requirements, and company procedures
  • Work closely with Superintendents, Supervisors, and underground crews to drive efficient and safe outcomes
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports, documentation, and progress updates
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance
  • Assist with resource coordination, including labour, equipment, and materials
  • Promote a strong safety culture and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment
