Joy through social connection as a Volunteer
<\/h2>
Provide social opportunities for our older patients in the Older Persons' Mental Health unit at North Ryde. As a volunteer, you will offer friendly conversation and find ways of connecting through playing games, doing puzzles, colouring in or other activities. Or perhaps it will be your skills as a good listener that promotes a connection with the patients. As a volunteer you will be empathic and find ways to facilitate relaxed, social engagement with the patients.

This role is all about kindness, presence, and the power of social connection.

We truly love connecting with people who want to volunteer with us. Our team will reach out with a phone call or text as soon as we can, and if we're unable to get through, we'll follow up with an email. Please take a moment to check your spam or junk folder as well, as some email providers don't always recognise our messages right away.
